I took a traditional print making class once. Spending hours sending shivers down my spine scratching a blade into a piece of glass or digging with a lino cutter (and over half the time into my own fingers) isn’t exactly how I like to party but what I have found is that those who love print love it a lot. And thank goodness for that because print making often produces the most stunningly in-depth pieces of work.
Gabriel Moreno is a Madrid based engraver, illustrator and painter and produces the most phenomenal prints. He does do a lot of commercial work for big names like Taschen, Nike and Fiat but I much prefer his personal works in which he creates a gorgeous composite dream world. Check him out below.
